I heard a glorified taxi driver (the shuttle bus driver for the Holden Service Centre) tell me today that the 2008 intake of engineers to Australian Universities had almost 25% girls. Is this true? I thought we were still going strong at about 10% girls?

We need more girls.
Those guys are lying to us to lure us into Engineering ... who would otherwise be discouraged at the "drought". What they should really be luring in is girls

I Am the student of the Engineering college of the London.. There have the thousands of the students studying whole of the world...There have the minimum 45% of the girls...The Asian girls are very aggressive to their studies..I thinks those are lead different higher post of engineering sectors..
My friend Mona from Bangalore(India)..She is brilliant in our batch..She impressed every one..
